Following on from Storm Éowyn earlier this year, some of the many larches around the library and firepit areas that were either completely blown over or had to be felled because they were leaning dangerously have been put to good use.
As our café has become ever more popular and busy, the amount of storage space we need has steadily increased and the latest project is a large “log cabin” type shed to house items such as toilet rolls, cleaning products, takeaway packaging, chair cushions etc.
The larch was milled using a chainsaw mill onsite into various sized beams and planks that were used to create this amazing looking building that blends in and will last for many, many years.
